1. Welcome to Cardhousesout Herncross

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Cardhousesout Herncross, an independent offline poker venue in Sydney, including our poker room, card lounge, poker tables, poker nights, poker events, and restaurant services. By entering the venue or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not enter or use the venue.

These terms apply to all visitors, guests, members, and participants at the venue. They describe the rules for making reservations, attending poker nights and poker events, using the card lounge, and dining in the restaurant. Please read them carefully before your visit.

2. Key Definitions

For clarity, the following definitions apply throughout this document:

• Venue means Cardhousesout Herncross located at Level 1, 123 Crown Street, Sydney NSW 2010, Australia.
• Offline poker refers to face-to-face poker games played at real poker tables within the venue.
• Poker room and card lounge refer to designated areas for poker activities.
• Poker nights and poker events refer to scheduled sessions or gatherings.
• Restaurant refers to the integrated dining service.
• We, us, and our refer to Cardhousesout Herncross and its authorised staff.
• You and your refer to any person entering the venue or using our services.

These definitions are consistent with the venue's primary focus on offline poker and are used throughout the document.

3. Eligibility and Access

Age and Identification

You must be at least 21 years old to enter Cardhousesout Herncross and participate in any poker activities. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who cannot provide acceptable identification or appears intoxicated or disruptive.

• Age verification is mandatory for all visitors.
• The venue may ask for identification at any time during your visit.
• Acceptable identification includes a driver's licence, passport, or proof-of-age card.
• Entry may be refused if identification is expired, damaged, or does not match the visitor.

Access to the poker room, card lounge, poker tables, poker nights, and poker events is subject to these eligibility requirements. The restaurant area is also restricted to visitors aged 18 and over, but poker areas require the full 21+ age limit.

4. Reservations and Payments

Poker Table Reservations

Reservations for poker tables in the poker room or card lounge can be made via our website, phone, or in person. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation from Cardhousesout Herncross. We may require a deposit or prepayment for certain poker nights or poker events.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for poker table reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. For poker events or private poker events, the cancellation window may be longer and will be specified at booking. No-shows may be charged the full reservation fee.

Payment Terms

All payments for venue services, including poker table reservations, poker nights, poker events, and restaurant orders, must be settled in full before or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at the venue.

• Any applicable taxes are included.
• A valid payment method may be required to secure a reservation.

5. Venue Conduct

General Conduct

All visitors to Cardhousesout Herncross are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other guests. Disruptive, abusive, or illegal behavior will result in immediate removal from the venue. The venue is a premium hospitality environment for offline poker, and we maintain a strict code of conduct.

• No harassment or discrimination of any kind.
• No cheating or collusion in poker games.
• Follow all instructions from venue staff.

Dress Code

Smart casual attire is required at all times. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone wearing clothing that is offensive, excessively casual (such as swimwear or sleepwear), or otherwise inappropriate for a premium poker venue.

• Management's decision on dress code is final.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited inside Cardhousesout Herncross:

• Weapons of any kind
• Illegal substances
• Outside food and beverages (except with prior approval)
• Professional photography equipment without permission
• Any item that may disrupt the poker room or card lounge environment

Bags may be subject to inspection. Prohibited items may be confiscated.

6. Poker Activities and Events

Offline Poker Participation

Cardhousesout Herncross offers offline poker experiences at real poker tables in our poker room and card lounge. Participation in poker games, poker nights, and poker events is subject to venue rules and any specific conditions announced for each session. We do not operate as a casino or gambling operator, and no cash games, real-money gambling, winnings, or guaranteed returns are offered or implied.

• All poker activities are for entertainment and social purposes.
• No financial outcomes are guaranteed.
• Players must follow the rules of the specific game or event.

Poker Events and Tournaments

Poker events and poker tournaments may be organized from time to time. Entry conditions, schedules, and any participation fees will be published in advance. The venue reserves the right to modify or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notice where possible.

• No prize money or gambling is involved.
• Participation may require advance booking.

7. Liability and Indemnity

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardhousesout Herncross shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the venue, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of property, or any other loss, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnification
