What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device after you close your browser. They help us remember your preferences for future visits.
- Session cookies are deleted once you close your browser. They support your current browsing session, such as navigating between pages about poker tables and poker nights.
Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, and local storage, which may also be used on our website.
At Cardhousesout Herncross, we use cookies to enhance your experience when browsing our offline poker venue website. This includes remembering your preferences, understanding how you interact with our poker room and card lounge pages, and improving our services. Cookies help us analyse traffic to pages about poker tables, poker nights, and poker events, and may also be used to provide relevant content about our offline poker experience.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential

Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. They enable core features such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the site. Without these cookies, the website cannot operate effectively.
These cookies do not require consent under most privacy regulations. They may be used to remember your cookie preferences or maintain session state when browsing poker room details.
Functional

These cookies may remember your preferences for future visits. They are not strictly necessary but improve usability.

These cookies collect aggregated, anonymous data about page visits, time spent, and navigation patterns. We may use third-party analytics services, but no personally identifiable information is shared.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to block or alert you about cookies, and you can delete cookies that have already been set. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of our website.
